This is a great vibrator for the price. The vibration adjustment dial is a smooth ramp up from very light to a not-overwhelming highest level of vibration. It's very quiet, and rumbly rather than buzzy. I think it's great, and I'd buy it again if it ever breaks. (have had it for over a year)
