Archie, a snarky genderqueer artist, is tired of people not understanding gender neutral pronouns. Tristan, a cisgender dude, is looking for an easy way to introduce gender neutral pronouns to his increasingly diverse workplace.
The longtime best friends team up in this short and fun comic guide that explains what pronouns are, why they matter, and how to use them. They also include what to do if you make a mistake, and some tips-and-tricks for those who identify outside of the binary to keep themselves safe in this binary-focused world.
In the 1970s a group of pioneering feminist entrepreneurs launched a movement that ultimately changed the way sex was talked about, had, and enjoyed. Boldly reimagining who sex shops were for and the kinds of spaces they could be, these entrepreneurs opened sex-toy stores like Eve’s Garden, Good Vibrations, and Babeland not just as commercial enterprises, but to provide educational and community resources as well. In Vibrator Nation Lynn Comella tells the fascinating history of how these stores raised sexual consciousness, redefined the adult industry, and changed women's lives. Comella describes a world where sex-positive retailers double as social activists, where products are framed as tools of liberation, and where consumers are willing to pay for the promise of better living—one conversation, vibrator, and orgasm at a time.

Everyone knows sex in a long-term relationship can get stale sometimes. But isn't the same true for masturbation? Just like a familiar sexual relationship, where you fall into a pattern using the same moves and positions, masturbation can become routine and, frankly, boring. Just because you're only getting yourself off doesn't mean you don't deserve an exciting, satisfying experience.
Sex Yourself teaches women how to reach orgasm and how to have better orgasms by themselves. Learn how the amazing experiences you have alone can be re-created with a partner, helping to enhance your sexual relationships. Try new techniques and accessories to have mind-blowing orgasms in brand new ways.
Sex educator Carlyle Jansen provides a modern look at masturbation, self-love, and orgasm that features fun and informative full-color illustrations throughout.
"Sex isn't defined by two people of opposite genders in the missionary position; it's defined by YOU. Sex Yourself reminds us that mutual masturbation and self-love are gratifying experiences. Keep this book on your nightstand, light some candles, dress up, and have a date for one tonight. You deserve it." –Amie Harwick, M.A., author of The New Sex Bible for Women

From the publisher:
Contemporary relationships are in a state of rapid evolution. These changes can and should empower people with the opportunity to develop partnerships based on their own sexualities, understandings, and agreements. This makes it possible to create what Kenneth Haslam, founder of the Kinsey Institute’s Polyamory Archive, has called “designer relationships.”
Designer relationships may encompass: people who bond emotionally but not sexually; people who agree to be non-exclusive; single people who have occasional lovers or friends with benefits; multiple partner configurations where long-term bonds exist among all or some; partnerships in which people are kinky and that make room to explore kink.
The possibilities are limitless, and thinking about a partnership as something people can craft allows for flexibility and change. Relationships can open and close or have varying degrees and kinds of openness as circumstances demand. In the context of a designer relationship, decisions are made mutually, consciously, and deliberately. Best-selling authors and nationally known relationship experts Patricia Johnson and Mark A. Michaels are exemplars of this life choice, and have studied polyamory for over 20 years. This book explains exactly how you and your loved ones can design your own life and love.

This book is a must read for anyone who has ever wondered "why does my body behave this way?" or "why doesn't my arousal work the way I want it to?" We don't often declare favorites at Smitten Kitten, but Come As You Are is undeniably one of the best books available today about the science of arousal and pleasure. The tone of the book is wonderfully approachable and conversational, and makes it easy for even the least scientifically minded of us to understand the intricacies of the human nervous system. And although the book focuses on cisgender women's sexuality, there are acknowledgments and careful word choices throughout the text that make it accessible for queer and trans readers. With a firm grounding in scientific study and a friendly, truly down to earth voice, this book stands out in the genre of arousal and orgasm guides.

This zine-style publication is an amazing resource for trans women and their sex partners, and anyone who wants to learn more about trans women's sexuality. Part practical sex guide, part advice manual, part personal narrative, this book is insightful and witty and has a visual style that recalls all your favorite black and white collaged zines from the 90's. Trans inclusive sex guides are hard to find, and trans focused guides even more so. Sometimes when there's a shortage of a particular type of resource, it's easy to settle for a mediocre choice. That's definitely not the case here. Bellwether has written a wonderfully detailed, intelligent sex guide that is strengthened by the presence of her own voice and experiences throughout.

While plenty of other books explain how to give a spanking or tie a half-hitch, Playing Well With Others is the first book devoted to kink culture—the munches, parties, leather bars, conferences, workshops, fetish nights, exploratoriums and all the other gatherings of kinksters that turn BDSM and leather from a bedroom predilection to a lifestyle and a community. The team of Harrington and Williams offers 30-plus years of experience in diverse kink communities: top, bottom and switch; gay, bi and straight; female, male and trans; white and POC. Both former titleholders and international educators, they are an unbeatable pair of “sexual sherpas” with an inimitable voice and a great deal of wisdom. Playing Well With Others is an unprecedented and essential guidebook for anyone who wants to explore or understand the “community” aspect of the kink lifestyle.

Sexuality after a diagnosis of cancer is a real issue for women and their partners. In her new book, Woman Cancer Sex, Dr. Anne Katz explains the changes that many women with cancer experience and offers practical and compassionate advice on how to handle these changes. Each chapter describes the experience of a woman with a particular kind of cancer and a variety of related problems, including loss of libido, physical pain, and struggles communicating with a partner. Dr. Katz tackles this sensitive and often unspoken topic in several ways: detailing the physical aspect of sexuality—how things work; highlighting the different feelings a woman might have during her experience; and, finally, presenting strategies women can really use in their daily life, including drugs and other therapies, tips on communicating, exercises, and more. There is also information specifically for the partner so you'll want to share this book. Modern medicine has increased the survival rate of the woman with cancer, and, for many patients, the memory of cancer and its treatments will fade. Sexuality, though, remains an important part of life and this book gives you the information and tools you need to reclaim your sex life after the challenges of cancer.

In fact, the book's deeply compassionate and thorough approach to chronic pelvic pain makes it arguably the best book available on the subject.
